All multi-piece barrels are cross-compatible for mix and match construction.
How the Freak Insert System Works
The Freak barrel system uses interchangeable inserts to solve the problem of paintball size variance.
Because paintballs change size based on humidity and temperature, a "one size fits all" barrel often leads to poor accuracy or broken paint.
The Control Bore: The insert is a precision-machined tube that slides into the back of the barrel, becoming the actual "control bore" that guides the ball.
Matching the Size: You select an insert with an internal diameter (e.g., .684, .687, .689) that perfectly matches your paint for that specific day.
The Benefit: A perfect match prevents the ball from bouncing inside the barrel, leading to straighter shots, better air efficiency, and significantly fewer barrel breaks.
